U.S. trade rep to try to break trade stalemate with Japan

  • Froman believes that Japan lowering its trade barriers would open the way for a deal on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a 12-nation trade pact.
  • Froman's trip comes ahead of a visit by President Obama later this month.
