Yog is a subject of gyan.

Yog is a subject of gyan. Knowledge is for the brain and the five senses. Gyan, on the other hand, is the core of what you actually are, what you are living through and what you experience.

The manifested and the unmanifested creation lies inside you. All you need is the ability to understand that and then use it.

Only your experience is real..

We are all divine beings going through a human experience. Your own experience is what will take you beyond, for only that is real.

‘sukham sthiram asanam’

There are no asans in Patanjali’s yogsutras, but only one shloka: ‘sukham sthiram asanam’ which translates as a posture in which one is comfortable and still. Similarly, there are no breathing exercises, only kumbhak, that is the cessation of breath and that too natural, not forced — a state experienced in states of dhyan.

Guru

A guru is not a teacher, because nothing has to be taught, everything has to be experienced individually; nor a margdarshak ( a guide ) because what is poorna and what is inside you, what will be the path to that? A guru is a shakti (energy) which needs to be accessed by the shishya and once that energy is accessed the experiences follow, which indicate that you have found your Guru.

Every thought is a potential manifestation...

Every thought is a potential manifestation. The level of consciousness of the person who is thinking is directly proportional to the ability of manifestation of his thoughts. The higher the level of evolution, faster is the manifestation of one’s thoughts.

'God'

The Vedic seer used thought as the basis to describe God; the lightest, subtlest and purest thought which is for the entire creation is God—nirakar, parabrahma, one that has no form, no limit, and is not bound by space. It is not just somebody sitting up there with a stick in his hand.

'Upay'

There is no such thing as 'upay' or 'solution'. You can go around buying fancy objects and techniques sold in the market these days to rid you of your problems but the fact remains that all your life problems are a result of your own actions. The solution thus also lies in your actions only. The law of karma cannot be escaped, so let us learn to accept it and improve our karma's.

Selfishness and Selflessness

There are only two levels of existence- selfishness and selflessness. The more selfish you are, the more bound and tied you are to the physical. The more selfless you are, the more access you have to the entire creation

Dharma

Dharma is not religion. For a lay person, dharma is the code of nature, the lifeline which keeps the creation going. It is the dharma of every human being to protect and provide for the weak, to conserve the environment and to develop strength of character to stand up in the face of injustice and exploitation.

Your thought process must change...

Your thought process must change from asking to giving. If you keep asking all the time then you will only roam around as beggars. Just reverse your thought process and turn your hand upside down, the latter is always higher than the former.
