Girish's constable avatar in Salaam

Actor Girish Kulkarni will be seen essaying the role of a police constable in his upcoming film 'Salaam'.
Directed by 'Taryanche Bait' fame director Kiran Yadnyopavit, this film is set in a village which has a tradition of army in the families residing there. In such a village resides Girish's character who is a police constable. The film focuses on the the coming of age children and how it affects them when their families are not from a similar background as others.Girish plays the role of a police constable in this village who is the father of an adolescent boy. The film focusses on how the father-son relationship is affected and what all it goes through in this background.
The actor was last seen in Marathi film 'Pune 52' along with Sai Tamhankar. The actor also looks forward to Anurag Kashyap's 'Ugly' which was screened at Cannes last year.
