JOIN UST he winners of ‘Saubhagya Utsav Offer’, a contest by Reliance Jewels, walked away with attractive prizes at an event organised at the store on MG Road recently. The prizes were given by actress Radhika Pandit.
‘Saubhagya Utsav Offer’ was held between October 5 and November 10, 2013 and December 13 and December 22, 2013. The mega prize for the contest was a Mercedez Benz A-Class which was given away to Veena K Rai.
On winning the prize, Veena, who hails from Mangalore, said, “This comes to me as a pleasant surprise. I am excited and happy about the win. I am a regular shopper here since there are a lot of varieties and designs to choose from. My experience here, as a shopper, has been fantastic. However, I had never expected that shopping here would win me a Mercedes-Benz. It has turned out to be a nice family gift.”
Other prizes included iPad Air Tablets which were given away to Varshita Mahesh Patel, Sangeeta Saraf, Ankita Bhalani and Asha Kumar from Bangalore. On winning an iPad, Sangeeta said, “I wasn’t expecting to win a prize. However, now I feel really lucky.” Ankita, another winner said, “I enjoy shopping here and now, I’m going to keep coming back. I never thought that I would get this lucky. Now, I’m hoping to win a Benz next year.”
Radhika Pandit also unveiled the wedding collection at the store consisting of elaborate necklaces, earrings, mangtikkas, daminis and bangles.
“Seeing the collection, I am quite tempted to get married! However, that does not indicate anything,” she clarified, adding, “Even though I’m not much of a jewellery person, I am floored by the new collection, which is attractive and is a celebration of design, craftsmanship and techniques. I am tempted to pick up some dazzling pieces for myself.”
