Diganth and
Ramya, who have been paired opposite each other after their 2007
Kannada film Meera Madhava Raghava, might just see their untitled film release shortly. The film, helmed by
Kodi Ramakrishna, is likely to release this summer according to the
director. "It is almost complete, we would like to release it before the elections, but if not, we want to release it this summer for sure," he says.
The film, which apparently has Ramya in two roles, is set in two time periods. While one is a girl of today's generation, the other one has some mystic powers, something that Kodi Ramakrishna's films are known for.
The film also has
Alok Babu of Jhossh and Ninnindale fame essaying the role of one of the other leads. While the past few months have seen people speculating what the fate of Ramya's unreleased films like Aryan, Dil Ka Raja and
Neer Dose, this particular film hasn't been a part of the discussions. Considering this was a female centric film that was launched with much hype, we wonder whether this will see a release sooner than the others.
