Vijender Singh loves animals, including pet Jimmy

Boxer Vijender Singh told us at WIFW recently why he’s been associated with PETA for such a long time.
“Cruelty to animals is something I cannot stand. Animals are mute, they are not like humans – we can box the ears of those who are being bad to us. And so, we must spend extra time to ensure all animals are cared for,” he said. “I have a dog, his name is Jimmy, and I love him very much.Even otherwise, I love all animals, and I try to remember all the time that they too have a heart and feelings just like we do, and that animals are always trying to do good to mankind, from the ox to the dog. Jitna karo inke liye, utna kam hai.”
