Gospel music outfit CCPA Voices of Mbare is set to release their seventh album which they believe will take them back to stardom. Simply titled “Kunemusha” the album carries six tracks, two of which, “Kunemusha” and “Ayiwa”, are already on the market. Famed for their hit song “Nganganga”, the Mbare outfit was over the weekend in Victoria Falls where they were shooting videos for the forthcoming album.

“This is our seventh album and I believe it will take us back to the ‘Nganganga’ stage. We have had several albums in between but they were fully not promoted but this time things will be different. We are going to have an accompanying DVD for the album,” said the CCAP Voices of Mbare chairman William Mikaye.

The album is being produced at Mcdee’s Eternity studios where Mikaye is a director. The all-men outfit performed over the weekend in Hwange at a gospel extravaganza titled “Eternity Gospel Explosion Hwange”, sharing the stage with Mathias Mhere, Bethen Pasinawako-Ngolomi, Baba Manyeruke and Vabati VaJehovha. “It was a wonderful experience performing in such an area. It is time to remind people that CCAP is there and is back to take their position in the industry,” he said.

Vabati VaJehova performed at the show after winning the Star FM’s Clash of Choirs which Mikaye’s RayClash Trading sponsors.

“It is our priority as a team to give promotion to talented groups who will be having difficulties in the industry. Winners will get among other things recording contracts,” he said.
