A Rahul Mishra creation embroidered with white flowers was ASMALLWORLD (ASW) CEO Sabine Heller’s outfit of choice on the evening of March 29.
Heller was hosting a mid-fashion week party in honour of the Delhi-based designer who won the international Woolmark prize earlier this year, and earned the title of Vogue India Fashion Fund finalist in 2013.
Members of the private, international travel and social club and the fashion community came to congratulate the designer on his big win and latest collection -- shown on Day 2 of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week autumn/winter 2014.
Guests, including fellow designers Kallol Datta, Arjun Saluja, Anand Bhushan, Nikasha Tawadey and Felix Bendish, were joined by director of Tara Jewels, Vikram Raizada, fashion commentator Sujata Assomull, and Sunjay Guleria and Mohini Boparai of online store Exclusively.in, among others.
The highlight of the evening was restaurant Smoke House Deli's customised menu, which included flavours from around the world, keeping the global reach of ASW in mind.
Also in ASW tradition is not to leave guests empty handed. A little box of chocolates was given to each of Mishra's well-wishers as a parting gift.
