A 28-year-old Denver man pleaded guilty Monday to child trafficking and attempted sex crimes involving a 13-year-old.
Socrates “Chrome” Packer pleaded guilty to human trafficking and attempted sexual assault on a child, both felonies, according to a news release from the Denver district attorney’s office.
Packer faces up to 18 years in prison when he is sentenced in June.
Five other adults are connected in the case, according to the release. Cyril “Jazz” Packer, Desiree “Dez” Gallimore, Mack McCray and Earl Williams have pleaded guilty.
Hector Garcia, 49, is charged with child prostitution and two counts of sexual assault on a child, all felonies, and patronizing a child prostitute. Garcia pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for a disposition hearing in April.
