PBA-DL: Custodio shows the way as Jumbo Plastic deals Blackwater second straight loss 

Jopher Custodio led the way as Jumbo Plastic handed Blackwater Sports its second straight loss, 76-68, on Monday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The Giants bounced back from defeat in its opening game as Custodio scored 19 points, making 5-of-11 shots from three-point range.

One of those triples came in the third quarter, which made it 54-32, for Jumbo Plastic’s biggest lead in the game.

Jeff Viernes also tallied 14 points for the Giants.

Blackwater Sports, which is applying for membership in the PBA, fell to 0-2 after losing to NLEX in its first game of the conference last week.

The Elite missed the services of Reil Cervantes, who was suspended for this game and slapped a P5,000 fine for a flagrant foul two on Ola Adeogun in their defeat against the Road Warriors. - Reuben Terrado, SPIN
