Electricity tariff reduction good for people, says Bandar Kuching MP

KUCHING: The 30% reduction in electricity tariff can help to reduce the burdens of many Sarawakians.

“The average household in Sarawak pays around RM150-RM250 per month for electricity. The 30% reduction saves them around RM45 per month and RM540 a year,” said Sarawak DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen during a press conference here yesterday.
