Government Railway Police (GRP) on Saturday arrested a man involved in a drug-and-rob case aboard Brahmaputra Mail at Allahabad railway junction.

ALLAHABAD: Government Railway Police (GRP) on Saturday arrested a man involved in a drug-and-rob case aboard Brahmaputra Mail at Allahabad railway junction.
The sleuths recovered Rs 4,000 and one mobile phone from his possession.
According to reports, the 'zeherkhuran' was identified as Tufazzul Haque, a resident of Malda in West Bengal. As he boarded Brahamputra Mail, he befriended two passengers in the train and offered biscuits laced with intoxicants.
The two passengers became unconscious after consuming the biscuits.

The victims were identified as Bambam Yadav from Jharkhand and Bappa Barman of Malda. However, before the accused could escape, the fellow passengers informed the security personnel escorting the train.
