DIBRUGARH: A 77-year-old US national travelled 579 km in an unconscious state from Nalbari to Tinsukia on the Delhi-Dibrugarh Brahmaputra mail before being rescued by railway police.
The woman, identified as Sandra Alengski, was rescued by railway police from a general compartment of the train as it arrived at Tinsukia Railway Station at 2.35 am on Friday.
