BlackBerry is doing all it can to sell off remaining stock of its Z10 units in India, probably to make way for the upcoming Z3 and now, the company has also made the 5-inch Z30 handset a bit cheaper by trimming down its price. The latter device is available for purchase at a new retail price of Rs 34,990 from the previous Rs 38,990.
The price drop for the BlackBerry Z30 is part of the company’s 10 year anniversary in India. The only downside here is that the reduction is for a limited time. BlackBerry notes that the offer will stand for 60 days only. On the upside, the company did the same thing when it made the Z10 available at just Rs 17,990 which now looks to be permanent or until stocks last.
The BlackBerry Z30 is currently the highest performance smartphone in the company’s portfolio. The device is also the largest in the series. It comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD touchscreen on the front and an 8MP camera on the rear. The handset is powered by a dual core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU with the BlackBerry 10.2 OS running the show.
