Sister first!

Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra wowed everyone with her stunning appearance in a crop top and long skirt, as she walked in to support Neeta Lulla at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer – Resort 2014. Kundra was accompanied by her sister, Shamita and the leading lady of her upcoming production venture, Ayesha Khanna. The shutterbugs couldn’t get enough of the actress, but Kundra insisted that the photographers click pictures of Shamita and Khanna as well. “Yaar! Mere photo toh hamesha kichte ho. I have two beautiful girls standing next to me. Inke upar bhi pyaar barsao,” said Kundra, as she took a step back and asked the two girls to pose for the cameras. Must say, Shilpa is one producer who believes in giving others a chance to step into the limelight too.

Mistaken destination

When we caught up with Shruti Haasan some time back in Hyderabad, she had a mischievous smile on her face when we told her that we had visited the ancient Golconda Fort in the city. The name, she said, instantly sent her back in time when she was about six years old. “My mom (actress Sarika) had arranged this visit to the Golconda Fort for me to see the historical structure. I was very excited because I thought I was going to Goldcoin (a soft drink) factory! All the way I was dreaming about the yummy soft drinks. Imagine my disappointment when instead of a drink factory, I landed at the Fort,” chuckled the actress.
