Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to quell rumours of her death after a heart attack.
“Namaskar. Meri tabiyat ke baare mein afwaayein phail rahi hai. Par aap sab ka pyar aur duaaien hain ke meri tabiyat bilkul thik hai ,” (There have been rumours about my health. But I am doing very well, thanks to your love and good wishes) she tweeted to her 1.7 million plus followers.
Ms. Mangeshkar, who is active on the microblogging site, also tweeted on the death of actor Nanda. “ Mujhe abhi pata chala ki abhinetri Nanda jise hum baby nanda kehete the wo ab humare bich nahi rahi, ye sunke mujhe bohot dukh hua ,” (I just learnt that actor Nanda, whom we used to call baby Nanda, is no more with us. I am very saddened to hear this) she had tweeted earlier in the day.
