Sacked Gulabi Gang chief Sampat Pal and her former aides got involved in a fight on the court premises.

Sacked Gulabi Gang founder Sampat Pal was spotted crying inconsolably at the Banda district court on Tuesday after her former cronies Jaiprakash Shivhare and Mitthu Devi allegedly attacked her physically.

It later turned out that Pal had also answered them with punches and slaps, but got tired soon and started crying for help.

A police official who reached the spot after the incident told newspersons that both sides have registered complaints against each other. "Pal, who had founded Gulabi Gang, was recently sacked.

"Shivhare had led the meeting in which the decision was taken. So she had filed a case regarding this in the court. This was the reason behind the fight which turned violent after both sides started slapping each other on the court premises. Further action will be initiated after an inquiry," he said.
