Girl robbed at knifepoint

NAGPUR: Nisha Meshram, a 20-year-old engineering student, was robbed at knifepoint by four masked youths, barely 300 metres away from her Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar residence on Tuesday afternoon. She lost her gold ring and a watch worth 15,000.
According to Meshram's statement to the police, she was driving home on her two-wheeler when four youths, wearing scarves, came on two bikes and stopped her.Interestingly, they didn't take away her mobile and purse. Meshram told that she couldn't note down bike's number. MIDC police are searching for the thieves.
Man kills father
Kondhali police have arrested Devidas Dharpure, 32, of Chikhli for allegedly killing his father Devrao, 75. They were not on good terms and would often argue. On Tuesday, after a quarrel, Devidas hit his father with a rod in their farm killing him on the spot. Police have registered a case of murder.
