Arpita Mehta showcased a timeless, classy collection titled ‘Paradiso’ of contemporary Indian wear at the week-long soiree. Inspired by exotic Indian cultural arts and embroideries, the outfits were crafted with chiffon, taffeta silk, organza and georgette satin. Embellished with decadent thread embroidery and delicate mirror work, the range included layered sarees, tops, bodysuits, ethnic tunics, dhoti pants, lehengas, cover ups and gowns in shades of canary yellow, indigo blue, green and orange.

Anushree Reddy’s collection ‘The Tale of a Bow’ was a classic yet contemporary take on traditional Indianwear. Made using rich fabrics such as malkha, Chanderi, kota, tulle, mulmul and satin, the line was based on tones of stone grey, vintage pink, soft blush, teal blue, rustic brown, canary yellow and natural beige. Adorned with zardosi work, pearl tassels, beads, and bling and tube sequins, the featured Indo-western pieces were cropped blouses, lehengas, Anarkalis, dresses, gowns, pants and cover-ups.

Fashion label Raven + Rose’s designer Ami Grewal presented a very glamorous and edgy collection named ‘On the Rocks’. Drawing inspiration from nature and the fast-paced urban life, the range was based on a fresh, bold palette of green, black, pink, orange, yellow and peach. Decorated with large motifs, feathers, beads and sequins, the tribal style-influenced jersey and silk chiffon made ensembles were short dresses, gowns, kaftans and cover ups.
