NMIMS: Admissions to undergraduate programmes announced

SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has invited admissions to its three year and five year integrated degree programmes that include BSc (Economics), B.Tech, MBA (Pharma.Tech.), MBA (Tech.), B.Com (Hons.), BBA. The admissions to either of these will be granted through NMAT.
NMAT (UG) is an entrance exam conducted by NMIMS to test the eligibility of candidates applying for admissions to the undergraduate courses offered at the University.

The two new undergraduate programmes introduced at the university are:

  • B. Sc (Finance)
  • B.Tech (Textile Technology)

The aforementioned new programmes will be offered at Mumbai and Shirpur campuses.

Eligibility:
In order to apply for the programmes, the candidates should be appearing for class XII examinations from any board.
Also, to avail admissions, the candidates will have to qualify the NMAT entrance test.

BSc (Finance):

This programme will act as an aid in providing specialized knowledge to the students in the area of finance.

It will also provide advanced understanding of international aspects of financial markets and other aspects of finance domain to the students.

This programme will also provide job opportunities to students in investment banks, broking houses, insurance companies and asset management companies.

Those planning to work as research analysts will also find a way.

BTech (Textile technology):

The students applying for admissions to this programme will be given a platform to improve their insight win against some of the toughest real life challenges in technology for which the "See and learn and work and learn concept" has been adopted by the Centre For Textile Functions (CTF) in order to encourage innovative ideas along with the skills which are essential to work in the current technology available in the textile industry.

This system also has a strong support from textile industry for training.
