Earlier this year, on February 13th, a woman was hit by a van while cross the roading at 10 Avenue and 5 Street S.W.
She was dragged under the vehicle for a short distance. She was rushed to hospital, but later died.
Police say the van was heading south along 5th Street approaching the intersection at 10 Avenue and turned westbound onto 10 Avenue.
51-year-old Edwin Yim Chau has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
