Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, we ask him how he feels about coming back to TV? “I'm pretty excited about my comeback. Actually, I've not shot for a film for a year now and I see this show a comeback to acting as well.
I thought I can't go on doing multi-starrer movies forever. I have been playing the same sort of roles in Bollywood films and even the scripts that came to me were of the same genre. Unless you're a BO king, you don't get to pick your roles, but I was feeling frustrated.I had to focus on our family business as my family were in a state of shock after I lost my sister and brother-in-law in the 26/11 terror attack. So I had to give up acting and spend time with my family,” shares Ashish.
And as he is a family person, what does he prefer doing in his leisure time?Ashish says, “It is completely reserved for my four-year old son
Agastya. He’s been my greatest support during difficult times and I make it a point to spend time with him as it makes me feels positive.”
