It’s a first for him, but Dada as Mithun Chakraborty has been fondly referred to on Dance India Dance does something special on Dance India Dance Lil’ Masters Season 3 which he says was a “new” experience for him. Mithun turned rapper for the opening episode of DID Lil’ Masters Season 3. He sang a special rap song as an introduction to the 16 kid participants, the skippers and the judges for the opening episode of the show.
The man who was once considered the ‘disco king’ of Bollywood in the 80s will flaunt some snazzy dance moves in a studded black leather jacket with an M embellished hat, thick chains, iced out pendants and chunky rings on each finger. His entry sequence will be with him sitting on a gold throne with a bevy of dancers.

“Singing a rap song was a new experience for me as I have never attempted anything like this before. For a rap song one requires a different attitude to maintain the flow and the feel in sync. So instead of aping anyone, I tried to do it in my own style,”said the 63 year old. According to inside sources, Mithunda rehearsed for four days before the actual shoot and even improvised his dance steps to make it hipper.
