KOCHI: Taking note of hurt caused to devout Hindus and the VIP culture that precipitated it, the
Kerala high court on Friday registered a suo motu case following Wednesday’s incident when two
Guruvayur Devaswom Board administrators exchanged blows and spilt blood right next to the sanctum sanctorum of the iconic temple.
The fight occurred when one of the officials sought to clear the way for close family members of Maharashtra governor
K Sankaranarayanan.
The case will be heard on March 24.
