Yoda or Chewy? Vote in an annual 'Star Wars' tournament

If you had to choose, would it be Leia or Han Solo?

Each year StarWars.com launches a fun March Madness-style character tournament. This week voting officially opened, letting you take a stand on whether Admiral Ackbar is the best Star Wars character of all time (which, of course, he is).

Brackets are divided between good and evil, so today you can choose R2-D2 or Wedge Antilles (on the good side) vs. Grand Moff Tarkin or Admiral Piett (grrr).

A cute promo shows former champ Yoda weighing in on the contenders.

Among this year's new features are social sharing (alert your Twitter followers to how much you love Greedo) and an opportunity to win prizes if you correctly predict the winners.

To vote and see all of the match-ups, head to thisismadness.starwars.com. The site will post the final "Light Side vs. Dark Side" showdown April 7.
