SIALKOT - The Bomb Disposal Squad defused anti-tank landmine, weighing nine pounds, averting huge disaster in the area on Monday. The local villagers spotted the landmine in a field in far-off bordering village Pindi Kalan-Noor Kot near Shakargarh here. The police officials here said that the bomb disposal squad was called in, which defused it. The officials said that the land mine was Indian made and was still alive, as it had been used during the 1971 Indo-Pak War and it cloud not exploded.
