At a time when Narendra Modi blazes a loud trail across the country, L K Advani made a quiet visit to nana Chudasama’s leafy residence. Over a meal of homemade savouries the veterans discussed, among other things, their respective books. Nana, known for his witty and sometimes controversial banners tackling contemporary issues, presented a copy of History on a Banner to his special guest. He in turn, offered a compilation of his blogs, My Take to his host. This is the kind of give and take we approve of.

Even as doctors managed to get RK Sr on the wagon, the star son has been working hard to get under the skin of the character he plays in Anurag Kashyap’s under production film. Much as he trains under the team that sculpted Hrithik Roshan for his super hero flick, RK Jr is yet to give up on his big weakness - rich food. We were not really surprised then to catch him cheat on his strict diet while on a shoot in Bangalore. In the suite where he stayed, RK with photographers Atul Kasbekar and Waseem Khan, tucked into a meal that certainly did not have ‘diet’ on its mind. The highlight of the spread, we can tell you, were the lamb shanks, a particular favourite of the star. As his father has famously said, you can trust a Kapoor to put his love for alcohol and meat over everything else.
