With the European Renaissance as the story behind her collection, designer Sounia Gohil merged fashion with fiction, and art with architecture in her line titled ‘La Bella Donna’. She craftily used sorbet fresh and subtle shades of lilac, icy blue and ivory and many kinds of textures to create this fresh line. The collection comprised structured tops, skirts, gowns, dresses, pants and sheer cover-ups in luxurious fabrics like cotton, net and lace.
Focusing on femininity and elegance, Gohil stuck to lightly contoured forms like pencil skirts. Actress
Richa Chadda was her showstopper.
