Fox has acquired an untitled pitch by Yana Gorskaya and Maia Rossini with Paul Feig’s Feigco Entertainment producing.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the project, based on an original idea by Feig, is described as a musical that will feature an ensemble cast.

Feig will produce with Jessie Henderson.

Gorskaya is best known for her work as a film editor, including the Academy Award-nominated documentary “Spellbound.”

Rossini is a novelist and short story writer. The team have been best friends and collaborators since grade school.

Feig and Fox continue to build their strong relationship after Feig delivered last year’s hit comedy “The Heat” starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. The pic grossed more than $130 million at the domestic box office and has a sequel in development.

Feig is currently his next comedy with the studio “Spy” that reteams the filmmaker with Melissa McCarthy.

Gorskaya and Rossini are represented by CAA, MXN Entertainment, and attorneys Karl Austen and Michael Auerbach. Feig is repped by CAA.
