New Delhi/Chandigarh: For Haryana’s wonder kid Kautilya Pandit, no question is tough enough. A child prodigy of Kuhand village, Kautilya is an exceptional talent who can handle a barrage of questions on topics ranging from astronomy, automobile industry, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), role of dollar in international economy, world geography, China-Japan relations etc. with perfect ease and elan.

At five years and nine months, he has surprised the medical fraternity as well as academicians. Doctors from far and wide are spellbound by his extraordinary talent.

“Look at it, he is just five years’ old and can deal with all your questions. It is unbelievable. He grasps everything so quickly and retains it. He has become famous at this tender age and is surprising everyone with his vast knowledge of economics, politics and geography. He answers such questions effortlessly that would mostly sound Greek to children of his age. I seriously feel it is some kind of God gift to this child,” Delhi-based professor Dr Kavita Pathak tells the Gulf News.

Kautilya’s super developed faculties of memory and retention have stunned neurologist Dr Rajat Singhal of Haryana.

“Words fail me when I look at the phenomenon of Kautilya. His memory and analytical powers are superb and can leave anyone spellbound. I am sure that medical fraternity can never explain this. No child by the age of five can naturally learn so much. You see the brain is still developing at that age, it is very difficult to learn and retain so much,” wonders Dr Singhal.
