Sobha Developers launches sub Rs 1 crore apartment project in Pune

BANGALORE: Southern real estate major Sobha Developers has launched its first 2-BHK (bedroom, hall, kitchen) project in Pune that's priced under Rs 1 crore. Sobha Orion at Kondhwa, Pune would be ready for possession in 2017 said the company.
Pune is the second largest city in Maharashtra and the eight largest metropolis in India. An approximate 28.6% of the city's population resides in 2-BHK apartments.
"Pune has emerged as a hotspot for some of the best educational institutions, MNCs and Indian corporate houses. With a population of over 30 lakh the city has the sixth largest per capita income in the country. We sought a favourable time to enter the market and started our journey in Pune with Sobha Carnation in 2010. Today, we launch our fourth project in Pune," said J C Sharma, Managing Director, Sobha Developers Ltd.
The residential project would comprise of a 14-storeyed tower totaling to 112 residences - with the super built-up area of each apartment ranging from 1,111 sqft to 1,284 sqft.
Sobha has completed 90 real estate projects and 242 contractual projects covering about 61.73 million sqft of area. The developer currently has 45 ongoing real estate projects aggregating to 18.90 million sqft of saleable area and 34 ongoing contractual projects aggregating to 9.50 million sqft under various stages of construction.
