MILPITAS, CA: A Spring Charity Ball was organized by Instant Karma and People Media on March 1 at India Community Center, Milpitas. This Charity Ball was an exquisite and classy program lined up to
support charities with unique programs and causes. The idea was to provide a platform for charities to come together and raise funds for the same, said the organizers from Instant Karma.
Priety Zinta, dimpled beauty from Bollywood, was there to show her support for charities and meet her fans in the Silicon Valley. She said she is associated with lot of charities and organizations which work on uplifting women.
She said events such as Charity Ball bring in like-minded people together for creating awareness and benefits for the society at large. Gopio, Janyaa, Induz, Narika, CRY America, St. Jude India Child care, PINCC, BATA and Awaaz Foundation were the participating charities at this special event. All these organization have a passion to change lives of people here and in India.
WomenNow TV was a part of this great show and provided the entertainment quotient for the evening. The event was intertwined with Bollywood dancing, singing, fashion show presented by WomenNow TV. Kids fashion show was a delight to watch with tiny tots walking the ramp with costumes provided by Zaris. Priya Gandhi and Nithya Bhaya entertained the evening with peppy Bollywood numbers.
“Throughout the year, WomenNow featured several charities and learnt a great deal about the phenomenal work they do to help the underprivileged across the World,” said Ena Sarkar, CEO of WomenNow TV. She added she was happy to be a part of this great event.
