Laloo Soren to call upon guv, wants CM to quit
Ramgarh: Laloo Soren, younger brother of JMM chief Shibu Soren, who joined Trinmool Congress led by Mamta Banerjee recently, has asked Hemant to resign following the fresh political turmoil in the state after two MLAs as well as those supporting the coalition deserted the party to join other outfits.
On his way to his native village Nemara under Gola block of Ramgarh district, Laloo spoke with local mediapersons late on Tuesday.
"The coalition in the state is unconstitutional,'' he said, adding that the governor should ask the government to prove its majority in the house.
He alleged that owing to the ignorance of tribals in the state, JMM has lost its ground even in reserved seats and the party has to pay a huge price for this during the coming LS polls.
Laloo praised Mamta Banerjee, the TMC president and chief minister of West Bengal, hailing her as a mass leader.
"Shibu Soren and Hemant Soren have ignored their native village and district and never cared for Ramgarh, which is the birthplace of Shibu. But I will take special care of my native village and district," he said.
Laloo alleged that his younger brother never gave him a ticket in Santhal region reserved seat and asked him to contest from Congress's Rajendra Prasad Singh's stronghold Bermo assembly seat where he was always defeated.
