TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Disaster Mitigation Agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said several roads in Jakarta had been inundated following a heavy downpour this morning, Wednesday, March 12, 2014.

“The rain is estimated to last till nighttime,” he added. Locations of large puddles in the capital as reported by the Disaster Mitigation Operations Center are as follows:

1. Jl MT Haryono in front of Bank Bukopin, South Jakarta, a puddle measuring 20 centimeters deep.

2. Jl Kelapa Gading in front of MOI, North Jakarta, inundated to a depth of 20-40 centimeters.

3. Jl Taman Palem Lestari, Jakarta Barat, a puddle measuring 20 centimeters deep.

4. Jl Cacing, North Jakarta, flooded to a depth of 40-50 centimeters.

5. Jl Cakung Cilincing, North Jakarta, flooded to a depth of 40 centimeters.

6. Jl Daan Mogot in front of Samsat, West Jakarta, inundated to a depth of 20-30 centimeters.

7. Jl Tol Soetta beginning KM 28, West Jakarta, flooded to a depth of 20 centimeters.

8. Jl Gunung Sahari, Central Jakarta, a puddle measuring 20 centimeters deep.

9. Jl Raya Taman Mini, South Jakarta, flooded to a depth of 10-20 centimeters.

10. Jl Warakas, North Jakarta, inundated to a depth of 10-30 centimeters.

11. Jl Raya Pancoran to Tebet, West Jakarta, flooded to a depth of 20 centimeters.

12. Jl Raya Jelambar, West Jakarta, inundated to a depth of 30 centimeters.

13. Jl Sunter Raya in front of the Astra mosque, North Jakarta, flooded to a depth of 40 centimeters.

14. Jl Tol Cengkareng, West Jakarta, a puddle measuring 20-30 centimeters deep.

15. Jl Husein in front of Dunia Baja ironmongery, Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat, a puddle measuring 10-30 centimeters deep.

16. Jl Yos Sudarso in front of the North Jakarta Mayor Office, flooded to a depth of 20-40 centimeters.

17. Jl Pangeran Antasari, Cipete, South Jakarta, inundated to a depth of 10-20 centimeters.

 18. Jl Sunter Raya, in front of Sunter Lake, North Jakarta, flooded to a depth of 10-20 centimeters.
