Nitish Kumar spits venom against Lalu
CHHAPRA: Spitting venom against Lalu Prasad on Friday at Maker and other places in Saran and Siwan districts CM Nitish Kumar said he (Lalu) is more concerned about his family than this state as has proved it by providing ticket to his daughter Misa Bharti from Patliputra. While on 'Sankalp Yatra', Nitish said, "Lalu claims to win all 40 seats of Bihar, but has no capacity to comple the Congress-led UPA government to provide special status to Bihar."
Explaining the need for special status to Bihar, the CM said Bihar will get benefit in payment of taxes, will prevent migration of labors, will provide opportunity for employment and establishment of factory etc.
He said signature of over one crore people of this state supporting this demand has been ignored by the so called democratic government at the Centre.
Considering that about 76% people are dependent on agriculture, Nitish said with this view he launched the agriculture road map, which has yielded positive results. Lamenting on the BJP he said when they were in power with JD(U), they always talked about development of Bihar but soon after separation from the alliance, they talk against it and now they have been misguiding the public to secure votes. District JD (U) president and Amnour MLA Mantu Singh presided, while PK Shahi, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Saleem Parwez, Manoranjan Singh and other MLAs of the party from this district also addressed the meeting.
