Legendary Bollywood Director Rahul Rawail (Betaab, Love Story, Bekhudi, Dacait, Aur Pyar Ho Gaya), Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih, Fashion Stylist and Costume Designer G.K. Reid, and the host of the evening award-winning director Indrani Pal-Chaudhari will be at Mr. & Miss South Asia 2014 on March 8.
Attractive and talented semifinalists will be competing at Spirit Of India’s 22nd annual pageant – Mr/Miss South Asia 2014 w/ Mr. & Miss India North America on Saturday, March 8 at the ICC Ballroom (525 Los Coches St. Milpitas, CA). The pageant is being presented by L.A. Tan and Gill Auto Group, in association with, Wells Fargo, South Asia Magazine, OrgaNick Life, and Royal Challenge.
Award-winning director and celebrity photographer, Indrani Pal-Chaudhari will be hosting the show. Indrani has worked with the who’s who in the entertainment industry: Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Will Smith, Eva Mendes, Anne Hathaway, Kate Winslet, Keanu Reeves, etc.
The gorgeous Rima Fakih, Miss USA 2010, will be adding more glamour to the red carpet. She rose to fame as the first Arab-American to win Miss USA title.
The red carpet gala is creating a buzz in the Silicon Valley, with Hollywood & Bollywood coming together to go down the red carpet, pose for pictures, and experience an amazing night. Legendary Bollywood director Rahul Rawail (Love Story, Dacait, Betaab) is flying from Mumbai exclusively for this pageant. Rahul Rawail is currently looking for new faces for his upcoming film ‘Love Story Again’. He’s discovered top Bollywood stars, such as Kajol (Bekhudi), Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh (Betaab), Aishwarya Rai (Aur Pyar Ho Gaya). He also had the privilege of working with Raj Kapoor as assistant director in ‘Bobby’ and ‘Mera Naam Joker’.
GK Reid (Fashion Stylist & Costume Designer), who’s worked with Rihanna, David Bowie, Katie Holmes, Iman, Usher, Liv Tyler, Janet Jackson, Kimora Lee Simmons, Chris Rock, Paris Hilton, the Kardashians, Gwyneth Paltrow, Anne Hathaway, Julianne Moore, was announced as a judge,

The evening will also witness Bollywood legend Rahul Rawail receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award.
