Satish Kaushik’s next after Gang Of Ghosts is Mayanagri
Randeep Hooda developed cold feet after signing the film
Even as his Gang Of Ghosts is set to release, director Satish Kaushik is already upbeat about his next film, Mayanagri. The film is an adaptation of author Surendra Varma’s novel, Do Murdo Ke Liye Guldasta and talks about two guys from North India who come to Mumbai to make a living and one of them becomes a gigolo.
“Because of his personality, I had Randeep Hooda on my mind to play the gigolo and he even signed the film. This was during the shooting of Jannat 2 in Delhi. But later on, he developed cold feet about playing the part and opted out. There are no hard feelings. The script is fantastic and I am very eager to cast for the film as I want to start shooting as soon as possible,” said Kaushik.
