MINGORA: Women belonging to the families of missing persons on Tuesday staged a protest here on Said Sharif road to demand of the government to ensure safe recovery of their relatives.

The protesters marched from Kanju area to Saidu Sharif road and staged demonstration there near Grassi ground.

The protesters, led by Jan Saba, held pictures and national identity cards of their relatives and shouted slogans. They said that their relatives had been missing for the last four years, but the authorities concerned had failed to take steps for their safe recovery or to produce in courts.
