Sunil Grover’s much-anticipated comedy show Mad In India might have proved a damp squib in the first two episodes but Grover and the show’s team are leaving no stone unturned to make sure there is a turn-around in  the fortunes of the coming episodes.

The latest on that front is that an episode planned with Mithun Chakraborty has been put on hold. “After Baba Ramdev, Govinda and Udit Narayan it was unanimously felt by the team that the show needed young blood,” says a source close to the channel.

We now hear that the shooting of episode five which was to feature the senior actor has been cancelled. “We are looking for a young superstar who has not been on Kapil Sharma’s show so far. We all love Mithunda. But we need to balance out the senior superstars with the younger guests,” says the source.
