DA's word play

David Astle returns to Sunday Extra with a brand new word play segment

Instead of a finished cryptic cue we're peeling things back a bit to a simple piece of wordplay - might be an anagram, a spoonerism, a homophone.

We want you to sift the clue, shuffle those letters and come up with a headline answer ... a news topic, drawn from the week just past.
For our first week of DA's Wordplay we're dealing with an anagram, a jumble of letters ... listen to the mystery mix, it holds a two-word headline and there's a bonus clue in the phrasing of the clue

Here is the clue

EURO LOUT RAN IN KIEV

The answer you're chasing is (7,10), so that's 7 letters in the first word, and 10 in the second, all the letters hiding in the fake headline.

That's right, the phrase is both a shuffle of the 17 letters you need, as well as clue in itself. The answer later in the program
