Gareth Roberts dies after 4x4 topples down hill near Mold

A man who died after an off-road vehicle toppled down a hill in Flintshire has been named as Gareth Huw Roberts.

The incident, involving a Land Rover, happened at Moel Llys y Coed near Mold early on Sunday morning.

North Wales Police said no other vehicles were thought to be involved.

Mr Roberts, 30, was from the Ruthin area of Denbighshire. His death was not being treated as suspicious, a force spokesperson said.

North Wales Fire Service said on Monday no further details of the incident were available at present.
