Al Pacino and David Mamet hold court at ICM Partners Oscar bash

Al Pacino and David Mamet — the star and playwright who collaborated on Mamet’s “Glengarry Glen Ross” on film and on Broadway — were the center of attention at an ICM Partners pre-Oscar bash Thursday night.

The pair was spotted huddled in conversation on a sofa at the Santa Monica Canyon home of John Burnham, a partner at the power Hollywood agency. Spies told us that a crowd flocked around Pacino and Mamet as, “everyone was trying to get a word in with them.”

A-listers gathered at the bash included Spike Lee, Meredith Vieira, writer-director Maya Forbes, Julia Stiles, Michael Sheen and Michael Keaton.
