Five 'Munnabhais' were caught using unfair means in the MBBS (final year) supplementary examination of Aryabhatta Knowledge University held at Patna Science College centre on Saturday.

PATNA: Five 'Munnabhais' were caught using unfair means in the MBBS (final year) supplementary examination of Aryabhatta Knowledge University held at Patna Science College centre on Saturday. All of them, who were copying the answers with the help of bluetooth, were expelled from the examination.
Patna University (PU)'s pro-VC Ranjit Kumar Verma said four students of Degree part III honours course of PU were also expelled for cheating in the examination at the B N College centre.
Besides, a youth was caught impersonating an examinee at the centre. The alleged impersonator, Shiv Kumar Yadav who was taking the examination in place of Sushant Kumar Yadav, was handed over to the Pirbahore police. Another examinee was expelled from the Patna College centre for using unfair means in the examination, the pro-VC said.
Meanwhile, as many as 594 candidates took the entrance test for admission to the PU's MEd course, at Patna Science College centre on Saturday. There are only 35 seats in the MEd class. PU students' welfare dean K N Paswan said the results of the entrance test would be announced on March 6 and the selected candidates would be admitted on March 11.
PU has extended the last date for submission of forms for BA, BSc and BCom part II honours examinations from February 28 to March 8, according to PU examination controller B K Jamuar.
