ABVP activists pour burnt mobil on 'tainted' doctor
Hazaribag: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parshad (ABVP) activists led by Amarjeet Yadav on Friday poured burnt mobil oil on civil surgeon Dr O P Arya and allegedly painted his face black on the sadar hospital campus here.
ABVP activists barged into Arya's chamber to charge him for misbehaving with female employees and lady doctors at the hospital and in various government-owned primary health centres, but he refused to talk to them as he was in a meeting.

He, however, told them that he will meet them shortly and asked them to wait outside. After more than an hour lapsed, the ABVP activists thought of teaching him a lesson and forcibly made their way into his chamber shouting slogans. Then drawing up close, they poured the burnt mobile oil on his head. The activists left the hall shouting slogans.
Ever since Arya joined as Hazaribag civil surgeon about three months ago, he has been allegedly misbehaving with the female employees and would even call some of them for duty at his residence and kept several female employees waiting even after the duty hours.
The harassed female employees took up the matter with the Non-Gazetted Employees Federation of Hazaribag Unit. The Non-Gazeteed Employees Federation delegation met deputy commissioner Sunil Kumar on February 21 and lodged complaints against the alleged misconduct of the CS.
The IAS officer, who completed her enquiry after meeting both the civil surgeon and aggrieved lady employees, submitted her report to the DC. The outcome of the probe report is not yet known.
