Nagpur shuttlers Mugdha-Pallavi bow out in quarters

NAGPUR: The Nagpur challenge came to an end in the 23rd Krishna Khaitan Memorial All India Junior Ranking Badminton tournament at Punjab University Indoor Stadium in Chandigarh on Thursday.
Mugdha Agrey and Pallavi Pitale went down in the U-19 girls' doubles quarterfinal against sixth seedd D Pooja and Ningshi Block Hazarika. The Bhavans duo had earlier in the day lost in the U-17 girls doubles pre-quarters.
City's Radha Mundle and her Pune partner Shriya Bhagwat too could not get the better of Kavya Gandhi-Khushboo Kumar in the U-17 girls doubles pre-quarters.

U-17 girls doubles: 7-Mugdha Agrey-Pallavi Pitale lost to Diksha Choudhary-M Tanishq 14-21, 18-21; Radha Mundle-Shriya Bhagwat lost to Kavya Gandhi-Khushboo Kumar 15-21, 16-21.
U-19 girls doubles: Mugdha Agrey-Pallavi Pitale w/o 1-KP Sruthi-Farha Mather. (Quarterfinal): Mugdha Agrey-Pallavi Pitale lost to 6-D Pooja-Ningshi Block Hazarika 13-21, 7-21.
