Baby’s body found in actor Nutan’s bungalow pool

KALWA: The body of a newborn girl was found inside the swimming pool of the bungalow of yesteryear actress Nutan on the outskirts of Kharegaon in Kalwa on Saturday. No one lives in the bungalow.
The body of the baby, who is possibly two-three days old, was thrown into the pool in a plastic bag, said the police, adding the body had started decomposing. Security guards spotted the bag in the pool and alerted the police.“There is no visible injury mark on the body,” inspector S R Nagarkar said.
Nutan’s son, Mohnish Bahl, learnt about the incident from his manager. “I was shocked. How can anyone kill an innocent baby?” said Bhal who visited the house. Refusing to blame his staff, Bahl said the property was too huge for anyone to keep a 24x7 watch. “It’s spread over 30 acres. The back side, where the pool is, touches the forest department’s boundary,” he said. “This end is porous for anyone to enter unseen.”
