Foreign experts along to evaluate research work of GTU students

The Gujarat Technological University (GTU) is going to organize Research Week-2014 for all the students of M. Pharm (Sem IV) and PhD (Pharmacy) from 20 thGTU, Chandkheda Campus, Ahmedabad.

AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat Technological University (GTU) is going to organize Research Week-2014 for all the students of M. Pharm (Sem IV) and PhD (Pharmacy) from 20 thGTU, Chandkheda Campus, Ahmedabad.
Each year GTU is organizing this research week during the month of February-March, to see the progress of research carried out by master and PhD students. Experts of related fields' will examine the work of students.
This mechanism provides a platform to students to get a deeper insight into the respective research area of the students. Experts are sharing their experience and give valuable suggestions to research students for value addition in their respective dissertation work.
During this Research Week total 1,612 students of M. Pharm and 71 students of PhD are going to present their progress of research in front of experts. To evaluate the research work done by the students, experts from foreign countries, industrial experts and academic experts from outside the Gujarat as well as within the state are invited.
Foreign experts like Prof. Vasu Appanna, Dean, faculty of science and engineering, Laurentian University, Sudbury, Canada and Prof. Abdelwahab Omri, Professor of Chemistry, Laurentian University, Sudbury, Canada are going to remain present. Dr. K Manjunath, Principal of Siddaganga College of Pharmacy, Karnataka; Prof. K S Jain from Puna University; Dr. V K Mourya, Principal, Nagpur University any many such national experts from other renown universities will evaluate the work of students.
Further, on each day workshop of all eminent experts are organized in post lunch session on recent trends in their respective research domains. So that students can get a new horizon of research. In brief, this research week is aimed to provide extended platform for learning and exploring new areas of research to all M. Pharm and Ph.D students of GTU.
