SRINAGAR, Feb 20: One person died and four others were injured in different road accidents across Kashmir valley today.
A police spokesman said here that a load carrier bearing registration number JK18/4430 collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK22/2801 at Hanjan Yaripora in district Kulgam.
“In this accident Zulfikar Ahmad Thoker son of Abdul Hamid resident of Check Chellan was injured. The injured was shifted to Yaripora Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case in this regard”, the spokesman said.
The spokesman said that an unknown tipper hit a Santro car bearing registration number JK01K/1127 and an Alto car bearing registration number JK04A/2100 near petrol pump Sangam. In this accident both the cars got damaged. Javid Ahmad Rahber son of Ghulam Mohi-us-Din resident of Sanat Nagar, Srinagar, Tufail Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Fatahkadal Srinagar, Muneer Ahmad Bhat son of Jalal-ud-Din resident of Pampore and Manzoor Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Sideeq Bhat resident of Pampore were injured in this mishap. The injured were shifted to Bijbehara Hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard.
