The Milwaukee Bucks are running the most amazing 90's promotion

The Milwaukee Bucks are the worst team in the NBA, so it would be hard to get fans excited about a contest including any of their current players. Luckily, they have a rich history to draw from, and plenty of options for beloved former players. Their current contest is one of the most bizarre in recent memory.

The giveaway involves a meet-and-greet with Bucks legend Glenn Robinson and one of his hip-hop contemporaries, Coolio. The last time either of these two men were culturally relevant, fax machines were a commonly-used method of communication. The Bucks realize that.

Unfortunately, when you’re holding a contest with ’90s technology, you’re beholden to its limitations. The Bucks’ contest ran into a little snag.

Fortunately, the fax machine was soon fixed, allowing fans to continue entering the contest, most likely sending a fax for the first time in their lives.

If you want to feel old, consider this: Out of the 14 players under contract with the Bucks, five were born in the 1990s. Five more were born between 1987 and 1989. That leaves four players who are potentially old enough to have ever used a fax machine.

In other words, if you enter the contest, you have a pretty good chance of winning.
