Delhi govt to introduce trams in Old Delhi to connect heritage sites

The Delhi Government has decided to run trams in many areas of Old Delhi area for better connectivity.

According to reports, the service will cover Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, Digamber Jain Mandir, Sheeshganj Gurudwara, Old Delhi Railway Station and the New Delhi Railway Station.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said that the AAP government has decided to redevelop and take forward the cultural heritage of Old Delhi and introducing trams is a part of it.
